ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Benjamin Sachs
Benjamin is a student with a deep interest in psychology, inspired by his mother, a clinical psychologist. Known for his empathy, he has always been drawn to understanding and helping others. He founded and leads the "Piedmont Peers Alliance," a school organization focused on mental health advocacy, aiming to demystify mental health and therapy, and improve accessibility for teens. He has created extensive content and curriculum in this area.
A strong public speaker, Benjamin has been featured as a speaker in school assemblies around the Bay Area and local newspapers on topics like mental health, consent, and other social issues. He volunteers as a peer counselor and participates in community service, building homes and local blood drives.
Outside of his academic pursuits, Benjamin enjoys acoustic guitar, singing with a local professional acapella group, and playing soccer and volleyball.
